sad news to post on the blog today: yesterday on the news, I heard that one of the greatest actors that ever lived, Mr. Gregory Peck died yesterday morning at the age of 89. I finally finished cleaning out my room!!! It looks so much better now (& i rearranged some furniture), & it actually looks bigger, now that I don't have a lot of junk piling up everywhere.


today, driving home from my aunt's house, there was a really cute teenage guy driving this car w/ two other girl w/ him. the girls just kept staring at me, & at one point the girl in the front passenger seat was rolling down her window (to talk to me I assume) but the dude driving motioned for her to roll her window back up. spooky. I'm beginning to wonder that I knew one of them in the car, but just didn't recognize them....guess i'll never know...

blah, blah, blah. Today has been a boring day. Nothing ever happens in the summer. I was planning on going to see 2Fast 2Furious, but got too tired, & too bored to make the effort to call anyone to go with me. Although I have been cleaning out my room this week, & it's actually looking quite nice. & I even made a coffin out of cardboard & covered it in cloth, & it looks really cool. I'm thinking about making some more (so I'll have a family of coffins!!! lol) cuz I have a lot of extra cloth that I have nothing to do with, & a lot of time on my hands, so I have nothing better to do than make crap out of more crap.

Last night Amanda & Rina came over to watch the MTV movie awards with me....so much fun!!! (especially loved Hugh Jackman w/ long pretty hair) & i was sooooo happy that LOTR actually won best movie, even though only 3 hobbits were there (frodo/elijah wood, sam/sean astin, & pippin/billy boyd) to accept it. but, i did think last year's award show was better, cuz they usually do parodies of year's movies, but this year they only made fun of The Matrix: Reloaded, & Charlie's Angels. Why not LOTR or X-Men???

today has been a happy day. I got my homecoming dress!!! (it's a bright/neon green w/ green glitter.....so pretty!!! so, yeah, i have to find green shoes before october to wear with it, cuz I don't have any shoes that match. i probably will end up wearing white shoes, because I don't know how hard it will be to find bright green heels) anyway, I'm really happy....JESSICA'S PARTY TONIGHT!!!!

the graduation ceremony yesterday was one of the most boring things I've ever had to sit through. it was only two hours long, but that was because there were 896 students graduating. & i had to sit there for 3 hours cuz my bro had to be there early. blah. & now I get to go to Dillard's cuz I'm hoping this dress I saw there on Friday will still be there, cuz it's the perfect dress for homecoming next year (& only $16.95 on sale) so yipee. Oh, & after the graduation yesterday, a bunch of family came over, & one of my cousins gave me a very belated b-day present (even though I hadn't invited them to my party....but they live in Katy, & i didn't even think they would want to come, cuz she's like, 23 or 24, but I guess her dad [my uncle] told her about it or something. she gave me a really pretty diary that I have now deemed my new book to write all my poetry in) okay, yeah, I know, this is a pretty long post, but i'm hyper right now. so, moo.

Guess who just made CHORALE??? I MADE CHORALE!!! Yes, I am very VERY happy right now. ƒº So, now I know I¡¦ll have choir 5th period next year, which will be great. The Matrix: Reloaded is awesome!!! I've heard a lot of ppl say it was horrible, but I think they didn't like it because you actually have to think to understand the plot. Once you understand it, it's an awesome movie. (there's only one scene I thought was a bit corny {campy!..for all you choir ppl} but, i won't say which for all those you are unlucky and haven't seen it yet. those that have might know which scene i'm talking about which is right after he talks to the oracle) anyway, I really liked it (Keanu...*drools*...). Everyone should see it.

choir banquet was loads of fun. So, I went to pick up Joel (in his mansion of a house) & he had 6 roses for me (& they're no just normal roses, they're like, bigger & they're two-toned..really pretty. i took a pic of them..hehehe) & I met his dad, & then we were on our way. The entire way there, he pretty much just talked to my mom & bro about jeeps (cuz he wants one now that he's ridden in one) & 30min later, we were at the hotel. When we got there, a lot of ppl had already arrived, so we sat at our table to eat the salads already laid out for us. I didn't eat the main course, but w/e. then they did the senior skits, & i would have enjoyed them more if I had been on the NY trip, b-cuz pretty much all the jokes were about that...except for how long Raddin's speeches take, & Jones always telling everyone to sign up for something on the board, & LeMay talking about her fetus. um....then the senior minutes (which seemed like senior hours) went on..(took a couple pics of Javier..hehehe). and then finally, the dance. At first, they were playing crappy music, but it got better. I got to slow dance w/ Travis W & Michael :-) so, that was pretty cool. And then after 2 hours of dancing, banquet was over. So, we left & my parents were waiting outside for us, & all the way home Joel was talking to my parents (like i wasn't even there..j/k...i was just too tired to say anything). & we dropped him off home. I went home, ate, slept, & didn't wake up until about an hour ago. & now I get to go see the Matrix: Reloaded, so this weekend has been pretty fun.

i've just realized that my last several posts have been extremely short, and probably make hardly no sense at all. So, since I am incredibly bored, I shall explain my last four posts, starting with the quote He punches his fists through the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts. This comes about from the book It by Stephen King. The character Ben Denbrough as a child had a very bad stuttering problem, & he repeatedly tries to say this phrase without stuttering. The post just above that one, refers to this magnet I saw in Garden Ridge Pottery. It had a picture of one of the art cows that were displayed all around Houston a couple years ago, & the name on the magnet said Cowpernicus. um...ok, then the post above that refers to yesterday when Amanda & I were supposed to go see X2, & she never called me about it. so, yeah, i was pretty depressed about that, since I've been looking foward to seeing the movie for 2 years. & the last post before this one refers to the fact that I get to choose the music for my bro's graduation party my parents are giving him. It's mostly a lot of old songs (disco mostly) b-cuz it has to be music that ppl (of all ages) can dance to. Anyway, now that I've bored you all to death, I can sleep peacefully tonight knowing that you all now can understand my previous short posts.

hehehe...I've had over 50 ppl sign my yearbook. i'm so popular. Except for a certain someone (by the name of JOHN G) misspelled my name (he left off the e at the end). I think it's funny that pretty much every choir person I've had to sign had written something like "hope to see you in chorale next year" ah..choir ppl. so supportive. Wouldn't it suck if you wrote that in someone's yearbook and they didn't make chorale? (not that I have to worry about that...)

I finally got my pictures back from Spring Trip. how spiffy. Most of them came out really good, so I'm happy. Wahoo. What else happened today?? oh, yes. I had to drop German 3 in order to take U.S. History AP. (for those of you who don't know, I was going to do summer school, but I have to take my tonsils out, & it will take about 1-2 weeks for me to recover, so I can't go to summer school).

Pop show was so much fun!! (& unlike I thought I would, I didn't even cry during the finale!!) so, I got there at 6:30 & consumed all of Paul G's french fries (he gave them to me, i didn't steal them) & we had a delightful conversation about body piercing. Then I went into the auditorium to watch the concert (Chorale started the evening with a lovely rendition of "Seize the Day" from Newsies Then, Elaine, followed by Kayley, did great jobs on their solos. (so did Marcie!!!) So, then Chamber choir performed (also a great job) & then it was time for the intermission. & then we (liederkranz) performed...we were awesome!! & i didn't even mess up. It was great. then I pretty much wandered around for the next hour and a half until we sang for the finales. all in all, it was a great show. very great. lots of fun.

today I talked to Michael for the first time in like, forever. okay, so maybe not forever, but it has been at least 2 weeks since I've last talked to him. so, i was happy. (still am!!) anyway....pop show is in like, 2 weeks!!! "mama i'm a big fat cow..." (ok, so those aren't the exact words to the song.....lol) yeah, i dunno. it's kinda sad though, cuz i have several senior friends that shall be leaving..& some others that i will miss even though i'm not really friends w/ them (these include both Joels, Ashley W, Javier M, Joey M, Chip T, and Daniel C) hm...all the cute choir guys are seniors, which really sux. blah. anyway, I bought the new Entertainment Weekly today, & it has a special section of all the new movies coming out this summer...it has a great pic of Orli & Johnny as pirates (for the movie Pirates of the Carribean which opens July 9...) Orli makes a great pirate. so does Johnny....

yeah, I know I haven't posted anything in a week, but last week was very busy, & then i had to go to Louisiana for Easter (it was a pretty okay trip. it wasn't as boring as usual...i guess cuz i went shopping a lot...hehehe...) got lots of candy & 3 stuffed animals( 2 from my godfather, 1 from the "easter bunny"), & a new bottle incense burner (really awesome) & some incense. blah. i still don't have my voice back. i lost it a week ago, & it's still gone. my voice doesn't love me anymore...i'm so unloved.
